I am considering buying this blood pressure monitor as it is very cheap. However, I am concerned about its quality. Any relevant experiences?

my in-laws have 2 omron digital blood pressure monitors but both don’t correlate with our mercurial sphymomanometer. we bought this to make it easier for them but it made them worry more because they get readings as high as 183/135 when it’s just actually 130/80…sorry but i can’t really recommend it.

A question from katesrevenge: Omron Blood pressure monitor detected irregular heart beat?
I purchased a new Omron blood pressure monitor. It has the irregular heart beat detector in it. I’ve been monitoring my BP for three weeks and no irregular beats have been detected until today.
However, I think I might have been moving my arm a little and been tensed up. So my question is, how accurate is the irregular heart beat feature? Can it make an error?
Anyone else have one of these monitors detect an irregular beat before?

Sometimes I can feel when I have an irregular heart beat. Can you ever feel an irregular heart beat? Those monitors are not always accurate. i would go by more how you feel. If it really concerns you, see a doctor.
