Question posed by i: Is it possible to cure ancestral high blood pressure completely?
My father-in-law has ancestral high blood pressure. Also his heart is not healthy, so sometimes it affects the blood pressure to get higher either. Now when something happens or if his blood pressure gets higher he has to take really powerful medicine, which is not good for his other bodies. Even sometimes when his blood pressure gets higher he gets really close to the stroke. I could feel that. So my question is “Is it possible to cure ancestral high blood pressure, also high blood pressure that caused by heart abnormality?”

It can’t be cured completely if it is genetically caused. Problems from it though, can be prevented through exercise, healthy eating habits, and taking care of one’s mental health and using stress reduction therapy.

Im 18 years old 5’9, 125 pounds. I drink quite often, and smoke (pack a week). I went to the doctor yesterday and he said i have high blood pressure?
Im guessing its probably the smoking, but is there anything else that causes it?

I am 21 years old, Male and am from India. I have a high blood pressure of 140/96. I weigh 93 kgs and am obese. I guess my cholesterol levels are also very high. What are the possible dangers I might face ? What corrective actions to take ? My parents also have BP but not very high.

I’ve just started swimming for around 1 hour (30 mts of actual swimming). Is that enough ? Is heart attack at such a young age possible ? Kindly advise.

Because you have high BP and obese does not necessarily mean you have high cholesterol!
You are very young, but heart attacks do not discriminate…eat a balanced diet, reduce cakes, biscuits, simple carbs, and exercise more, walking is ideal and if your swimming for an hour you should be swimming at least 6 lengths of a 50 metre pool….

so today i went for a routine check up to play sport in my school.
my blood pressure fly off the chart with a 198 almost 200…
my doctor was shock cause last 6 months i went to him for a check up my blood pressure was 105..

i don’t know why, but before i was much unhealthy and my weight was 185lbs…but now i was much fit w/ a 150lbs…i don’t know why i work out every day…and my blood pressuree…

Did you take any medication prior to the test. Eat a lot of MSG? Reduce your salt intake etc.

My psychiatrist told me that if my blood pressure stays high he will not want to prescribe my Adderall anymore. Thing is, I’ve always had high blood pressure, it aint the Adderall doc. But he says he has a hard time prescribing it when it tends to increase blood pressure. I have two days til my next visit with him to fix this. I still smoke, I still drink, I still eat salty food…what’s a boy to do?

stop or lower u-r bad habits homeboy get you a 10-15 minute nap that might help it lower you blood down some.
I know cause theres a dude that goes on therapy w/me and they always put a nub on his mouth to go raa sleeeeepp!!!!!

126/86 73 beats per minute. Some back round, I usually have blood pressure that reads 110/68 but I am trying to take myself off of Klonopin. I have a blood pressure monitor so I keep taking it and it continues to read with a High diastolic. Should I be worried? Please advise.
I am 35 years and average weight.
