for normal adult
normal BP varies between
normal ( law ) 90/60
normal idel 120/70
normal high 130/80
u should measure it from sitting,, left arm must be at same level of heart, at from left arm
when u lay down it may decrease a lil
if u feel dizziness sudden when u stand u have orthostatic hypotension, some vascular prob cause sudden drop in blood pressure causing por blood for brain..
when u stand up, may increase a lil
fro same position right is higher 10mm Hg from left
if u take it from ankle
u measure the brechial ankle iindex
ankle/brechial… if it .9-1,3 completly normal
.8 insuffecint blood flow
.7 avascular
.6 and less = pre gangrean
u care more if ur diastolic is high
systol/diastol
coz during diastolic… the myocardiac perfusion occurs ( heart muscle blood supply )
if u feel dizziness sudden when u stand u have orthostatic hypotension, some vascular prob cause sudden drop in blood pressure causing por blood for brain..
