Matthew and Jessica P asked:
I’m 30 weeks and now my Dr. wants to monitor me weekly now for high blood pressure but I didn’t think I was doing that badly(125/85). Whatever is best for baby of course but I was just wondering when is it beyond “high blood pressure” and go to preeclampsia? Anyone else have this issue?

The 125 part is normal, but 85 is high (that number should be under 80). It isn’t really serious right now, but they are going to want to monitor you closely to make sure it stays at a manageable level.
Hypertension is considered when the systolic (top number) is over 140 and/or the diastolic (lower number) is over 90.
That depends on your normal pressure reading. Mine is always in the 130s/80. These are good pressures for me while not pregnant, so my doctor is looking for a jump in pressure that stays sonsistently high, not a specific number.
They are more concerned if it increases. For example, mine started around 135/90 all along, and as long as it doesn’t start going up, my doctor isn’t concerned. For someone with a much lower starting pressure, it is different. There isn’t really a line that turns it from high blood pressure to pre-eclampsia.
I don’t think 125/85 is high at all during pregnancy.
