It depends – sometimes nothing happens and sometimes people have symptoms like fatigue or dizziness. If you feel good, then your BP isn’t low enough to cause problems.

your heart rate/pulse speed up initially as does your breathing, then you pass out, to get you in a lying down position so your brain can get bloodflow.

Avoid a head injury. so, eat some salt, add extra to your food. your kidneys are working hard to maintain blood pressure to all vital organs, heart, lungs, brain, kidneys, liver etc.

That reading is considered to be borderline low. However one isolated reading may not be significant. If it persists and you have none of the symptoms associated with low blood pressure then you are most likely doing ok. You should take several readings during the day (at least 3) when you are calm and at rest. Average the readings for a more meaningful result.

Low BP is only ever a problem if it’s so low that it’s unable to push blood around the body. Providing you are not symptomatic with dizziness etc, and you are otherwise well, there is no need to worry.

Rarely low BP can be indicative of problems such as cardiac problems, addisions disease and diabetes.
