A question from Jen: What does it mean if I have low blood pressure?
I saw my doctor and she informed me that I have low blood pressure but reassured me that it was nothing. I’ve read that symptoms low pressure include fatigue, dizziness, pains in arms/legs, and sometimes blackness when you get up too quickly. The truth is, I HAVE experienced all these symptoms, quite regularly. What’s the next step? Is there something I should do to improve my health or is it easier to just live with this?

I’ve had low blood pressure my whole life, due to this – I actually DO faint on occasion. It’s no fun but not dangerous( unless you fall and hit your head ) this has landed me in the ER once :p
The only thing you can do is increase your fluid and salt intake and if it’s low enough – they will put you on medication to raise it.
But since your doctor doesn’t seem concerned, I wouldn’t be either.
Just more salts, more fluids, and you’re good to go!

eat small meals at regular times.
Just live with it. Eat anything you want to eat and just live a good lifestyle… its better then high blood pressure. I wouldn’t treat it personally. I mean if its really bad id eat subway and things like that until it balances itself then eat healthy again.
Low blood pressure (hypotension) is blood pressure low enough to cause symptoms such as dizziness and fainting.
