Eat a good balanced diet to keep it under control. Uncontrolled, it can lead to heart trouble & strokes. There are books in the library & bookstores which outline a good diet for hypertensives. I am sure if your Dr. told you that you have high b/p he or she has put you on medication. I am a small person & don't have any problems that one can see, but I too have high b/p and it is kept in check with meds.
