I have not taken high blood pressure medicine for 3 years. I did not have medical insurance. I ran out of medicine and just felt okay after one month. I exercise every day and try to watch what I eat. I went to the doctor today for a sinus infection and my blood pressure was 220/170! She immediately put me on blood pressure medicine. She told me the damage has been done and I can not do anything about this. Thank you.
I just got health insurance through my employer.
Yes, I have drank lots of coffee, used Sudafed every day.

Right the damage is done, just stay on your high blood pressure medications.
Blood vessel damage is irreversable – the best thing to do now is to prevent further damage.
Try to avoid cold medicines with pseudoephedrine (sudafed, now behind the pharmacy counter in most places) because this will increase blood pressure.
Exercise more, cut out the salt, lose a couple pounds, dont drink sodas/caffeine
And most importantly, NEVER stop a blood pressure medicine without constulting your doctor- your pressure can skyrocket after stopping certain medicines, and its very dangerous to your blood vessels, eyes, and kidneys.
If you have trouble affording medicine, many drug companies can help you, or check out wal-marts $4 prescription list (lisinopril, a common BP medicine, is on there)
hope this helps!
Coffee and Sudafed are not helping the situation! Search the internet and learn how important keeping your BP under control is! Good luck!
Is things that you can do naturaly to keep your blood pressure, but if you hava your blood pressure that high is better that for short time you can get some prescription drugs to lower it. Another thing is several good herbal formulas that I have very good outcome with my patients and also diet.

Check in to natural Hawthorn berry. It is a vascular dilator that can help with high blood pressure and other heart related problems. Just be sure to check with your Doctor if it is OK for you to take. Hawthorn is one of the few herbs that is recognized by the American Medical Association, and as such your doctor must be made aware that you plan to take it. There are some drugs that might interfere with the Hawthorn, or Hawthorn might interfere with your drugs. The actions of some drugs might be intensified by taking Hawthorn.
If you decide to take hawthorn, you can make tea from the berries or get capsules of the herb at most health food stores.

Please do not search the Internet for your medical advice. This condition can be improved with the correct supplements. Blood pressure medication from your doctor does not improve your pressure it only attempts to stabilize it. Cutting down the salt will help but you must also increase your intake of potassium and fiber, along with more exercise and plenty of fluids. There is also a powerful antioxidant called OPC-3 that has given other people in your situation amazing results. Email me if you would like some testimonies on that supplement.
I do not believe that for one minute. There is literal proof that alternative and natural healing does benefit especially high blood pressure. That is sad to say what is hopeless about some closed minded conventional physicians. A well rounded educated integrated physician would direct you to a better lifestyle. You might need to clamp down even harder on your habits and consider a naturopathic form of therapy. Do some research on Naturopathic, alternative or Holistic treatment for Hypertension. There is tons of stuff on the web that will direct you to the proper techniques and resources that assist you.
I would recommend Dr Richard schulze’s incurable program that is said to fix all incurable diseases. I know people including myself who tried it with excellent results for cancer and such.
See the save your life videos..his stuff is herbdoc.com and see this website for how to do the program..
I also recommend taking raw garlic and cayenne pepper as the too together reverse plague and this lowers blood pressure. the incurables does lower blood pressure and may well repair the blood vessels as within 2 years every cell of your body is killed and made new..if we stop doing the bad things and start doing the good things, we can build new healthy cells which would include blood vessels cells.
I think adding Hawthorne tincture (organic) not capsules (get at a health food store or online–herbpharm is a good brand.recommended above would also be a good idea..make sure the garlic is raw—take at least three cloves a day or more and use the hottest cayenne you can find.
also coffee triggers heart attacks. Also eat mackerel, salmon, herring and sardines for their mega three content and take flax seed oil daily.
