I am 36 weeks.

What are your experiences with having high BP? Do they induce you early if your BP stays high?
Not sure what to expect.
thanks

They put me on bedrest and had me come in to do an NST every once in a while. I was induced on my due date. That is as far as they went for me.
Last week at my docs appointment I had high blood pressure and protein in my urine. My doc told me to go home get my hospital bag and head straight to the maternity hospital because he diagnosed me with pre-eclampsia.
I was told I would be induced in the next day or too but miraculously my blood pressure went back down and they sent me home.
Im back in hospital tomo for a check-up and if its high again they are keeping me in. Its my birthday tomo!
Your BP musnt be too much of a concern or else they would have put you on tablets before inducing you as a last resort.
Good luck! xx
I was 37 weeks and my bp was high…I was monitered a few hours and it stayed around 160/85, so I was given the choice of staying home from work and resting and monitering or being induced. I chose to be induced.
