there are different stages of high blood pressure, there is pre hypertension which is lower than 140/90 and thats where you may be at risk for high blood pressure but don’t specifically have it yet. then there is stage 1 of high blood pressure and stage 2. stage 2 is higher scores than stage 1 and more dangerous obviously. high blood pressure is something that needs to be taken care of asap especially during pregnancy.

A blood pressure of 140/90 or higher is considered high blood pressure. Both numbers are important

140/90 if it is high they will put you on meds to control it they currently have me on meds to control mine. As long as they can keep it under control its not to big of a deal but must be monitored at every apt. Don’t depend on the ones in CVS that are the machines the doctor told me they aren’t very reliable so usually you can get a pharmacist to take it for you if you can’t get into see your doctor right away. Also usually with high blood pressure you will have headaches that are like pounding, vision disturbaces, and others so keep an eye out for those. Those where my first clues to having high blood pressure. Good luck!
