We always hear about how it temporarily raises blood pressure when no one ever says how much it should. When I’m done lifting, it’s usually around 140/90 to 180/90.

When you’re doing something like heavy squats, for example, I’d bet it gets astronomically high for a brief amount of time, and that that is normal.
How do we know if we’re not overdoing it?

it goes back to normal after a while, as long as you arent winded, you should be okay.
i don’t think you should really worry that much about your blood pressure if you stay on a clean diet and work out often. and by the way a bodybuilding lifestyle is very healthy anyway. if you don’t believe me then log onto bodybuilding.com or ask a healthcare professional
