I checked out the link: and saw what a joke it was. Of course, everything it said was probably true, but it shows that the medical community knows nothing about dehydration but to treat it with drugs.

In each of the links on the above website, it mentions relaxing the muscles around the cardiovascular system to allow the arteries and vessels to expand, which lowers the blood pressure.

What they fail to mention is what causes the muscles to squeeze the vessels in the first place.and why they were squeezed. Knowing this is very important in prescribing a treatment. The reason that the arteries and vessels were constricted is because that’s what they do when water is taken from the blood – there’s a loss in volume in the blood and so the arteries have to constrict to prevent gasses from forming. The muscles that constricted the arteries did so because that’s where the pressure comes from to inject water into the cells (that are dehydrated).

Instead of prescribing the medication, all a person would have to do is drink more water. That would stop the need to take the water from the blood to inject into the cells. It would restore the volume of the blood to normal levels and the blood pressure will go down.

Unless a person is in dire need of immediate help, drugs for hypertension are not necessary. Using them will not only develop a dependence on them, but they will eventually damage your body beyond repair – they might even cause heart damage instead of prevent it.

It should. Many people may require more than one med. IF a patient does change their lifestyle enough, they MAY be able to lose the meds, AFTER talking to their doctor.
