Question by Allison: How can you tell and help high blood pressure?
Okay, I know I just asked a question just like this but I’m really starting to flip out. I’ve been seeing answers on here that are making me want to get my blood pressure checked now and its 12 in the morning.
How do you know when you have high blood pressure?
How can you help it without medicine?
Anything will help, just not the doctor thing because I’m planning on getting it checked at one of those Walgreens things tomorrow.

The No 1 answer:

Answer by ? Vegetarian ?
High blood pressure usually causes no symptoms and high blood pressure often is labeled “the silent killer.” People who have high blood pressure typically don’t know it until their blood pressure is measured.

Sometimes people with markedly elevated blood pressure may develop:

*headache,

*dizziness,

*blurred vision,

*nausea and vomiting

*chest pain and shortness of breath.

You really can’t help high blood pressure without Medication and medical attention.

The only way to tell if your blood pressure is high is to have your blood tested. There is no physical signs of high blood pressure. You do not need medication to lower your blood pressure, however, you will need a diet. Cut down on sugar and fats. Eat Oatmeal and turkey instead of pork or beef. If you drink beer or sugary drinks cut down on that and drink more water. Berries are also a good way to go. My god mother told my father that a glass of red wine once a day works wonders.
