I was recently diagnosed with high blood pressure. I am 47 and never had issues before. The past year has been EXTREMELY stressful for me (too much to get into). I know I have to lose about 20 pounds and change diet. I am now taking Inderal. I was wondering if I lost the weight, ate well, didn’t smoke, etc. I could eventually get off medication. Has anyone ever sucessfully done this through lifestyle changes? Unfortunately both my parents have this also.

fembot50, I recently tried a few different weight loss pills I found 1 that really worked well for me I think you can still get a free trail here
hope this helps,
My dad has. He started exercising and eating wayyy healthier & he’s not on meds anymore
Worked for my mom.
Many people have lost enough weight to regain normal blood pressure. Being under stress doesn’t help. Your doctor will step down your meds and wean you off when you are ready.
