Could this be high blood pressure?

blood pressure miracle

bittersweet84 asked:

Lately i’ve been having these “episodes”.I call them episodes b/c the symptoms are intermittent, not constant. It will all start with migraine symptoms;the awful headache,my temples throbbing, sensitivity to light, etc.Usually when i get a migraine(which i’ve been suffering from for 13 years)i will get an accelerated heart rate, but nothing like this. After the “migraine” starts my heart starts pounding so fast that i can hardly catch my breath. My pulse is racing and i definitely feel like i’m having a heart attack or will simply die at any second. My husband became worried so he bought a digital blood pressure monitor. The thing is,I just took a pressure reading and it was normal, but i wasn’t going through an “episode”,i feel weak, but my heart rate is normal. What could this be? Can blood pressure fluctuate up and down like that or could it be something more serious? Please help until i can get an appt. to see my dr.

Yes blood pressure can fluctuate so you need to measure it during one of your “episodes”. Could you be having a panic attack?
