Did it cause fainting? I have gone to the doctor’s. He says I have low blood pressure and I need and EKG and a holter monitor for 24 hours. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. He does not think it is the meds, but it started as soon as I started the medication. I have been on it for 6 weeks.

Odd, Effexor usually causes high blood pressure. I am on it, and generally, mine is a little bit higher than normal.
You may have something else wrong. I agree with the doctor. It is highly unlikely the meds. It is just a coincedince that both started at the same time.
I didn’tt experience low blood pressure but I would recommend if you are taking Effexor to get off of it ASAP! It took me 6 months to ween myself off of it and I was sick for 6 MONTHS STRAIGHT! Effexor is a bad bad medicine! Most doctors aren’t recommending it anymore!
