Tony asked:
I eat a lot of ramen noodles because they are inexpensive. After school I have just one serving a day. I have heard that you can get high blood pressure from too much salt so i am worried I might get this disease quickly if I don’t stop soon.
Should I be worried?

Yes you should be worried, to prevent high blood pressure eat alot of sour stuff for ex. lime juice & not to much sugar it in.
Excess salt can cause hypertension (high blood pressure) and ramen certainly contains a lot of salt. You can limit the salt by pouring out some of the broth and adding hot water.
One serving a day is fine, however salt intake should be watched during the rest of the day. It is your total salt intake that matters more than the salt content of any individual item you consume. Overall. salt intake is just one factor in blood pressure. Go check your blood pressure for free at Walgreens or Wal-mart or at your local fire station. If it is abnormally high, then salt intake may be a factor. Check out your pressure before you start worrying about too many noodles. you are probably just fine.
Good luck.
Yes you most definitely could lol but I love em too:)))) my mom stopped buying them though cuz it was unhealthy ;()
