blood pressure miracle

blood pressure
psmom2006 asked:

My mom,80 years old,has high blood pressure for years. And she has high blood pressure recently which rises from 130 to 170 . Is it too high? She has this high blood pressure for a week despite she has taken the same amount of high blood pressure pills . I take her to see the doctor but the doctor didn’t increase the amount of pills . What can I do? Is there any kind of food that can lower her blood pressure? My mom eats very little meat or fish.Is it one of the reason for her illness? Recently her hip is painful and can’t go out.I took her to see the doctor and had taken x-ray but nothing wrong. Is it caused by her high blood pressure? Also she has taken the pills which will thin her blood.
Words can’t expession my gratitude to all of you. Thanks for the valuable answers !I would ask my mom to try and am going to buy the food which you all mentioned.

Switch to olive oil when cooking. Decrease salt and lower stress.

I have heard that onions and garlic are great for lowering blood pressure and cholesterol

Most importantly avoid salt if you have high blood pressure. Salt is in a lot of unexpected places, like canned foods, even canned vegetables. Processed foods, especially frozen foods are packed with salt.

I doubt the blood pressure is causing hip pain.

Soy beans. The green kind. Those are good and are not fattening and will fill you up, and you don’t have to worry about bad cholesterol or too much sodium.

  6. gfdgirl says:

Decreasing salt intake is key. Watch out for prepackaged foods as the sodium content is generally very high.

Yes its been proven that banana’s help lower blood pressure along with a no salt diet and if you become a veggie and avoid all animal products and sugars you will notice a big change in your health.

The diastolic (second measurement) is more important than the systolic first: 130 is great 170 is too high if it’s like that a lot of the time. Over 180 and you’re looking at strokes eventually. The big deal is not wearing the heart out. The doc should be ensuring that the diastolic stays under 90, definitely don’t let stay over 100.

I have high blood my self. It could be the pain that makes her pressure high. You may need to take her to another Dr. My mother drinks apple cider vinegar and it works for her. At age 80 I doubt she is over weight. Watch the salt intake and no fried foods.
