Monitoring your blood pressure at home will help you to see how well your lifestyle changes and medications are lowering your blood pressure. The more you can reduce your blood pressure, the lower your risk of heart attacks and strokes in later life. UK charity the Blood Pressure Association has a clinically validated home blood pressure monitor that gives accurate and reliable readings. For every monitor, the charity receives £5 to fund its work.
