The wrist ones are very inaccurate. The automatic arm ones are basically you get what you pay for. The less expensive are very inaccurate. Your best bet if you don’t live alone, is get a manual one with a stethoscope and have someone take it for you. Manual is the most accurate. Even the “robo nurse” ones in hospitals can be inaccurate.
I have the Wrist Tech HL-168 it works fairly well, you have to follow instruction closely though. The cost was $ 75.00 several years ago. I can check it at home then when I go to Wal Mart the reading is similar.
