baseballguy asked:
I have been monitoring my blood pressure over the last few months and it ranges. The overall average is about 124/72. Sometimes it has gone to 134/80. I am wondering if this is bad? I know 120/80 is optimal but I heard somewhere that the further apart the two numbers the worse for your heart? Is this true or should I have nothing to worry about for now? Thank you.

My Dr said that 120/80 + or – 10 on each side is normal.
When systolic and diastolic blood pressures fall into different categories, the higher category should be used to classify blood pressure level. For example, 150/79 mm Hg would be stage 1 hypertension (high blood pressure).
So you need to take at least home remedies for hypertension to brought back the blood pressure to normal.
