Anyone know where I can download or print FREE charts to monitor blood sugar and High blood pressure?

IDNSFG818 asked:

There are lots of places to download charts, but they all want money and I am a bit short of that right now. Thanks for your help.
I want to thank you all for your helpful answers, especially penny B and Micks Mix. The open office one my security system on my computer, for some reason, did not like.

The booklet that comes with the tester is way too small and does not cover the blood pressure as well, but I thank you for the thought.

I chose Penny B as the best answer because her site gave me blood presure and blood sugar. Mickimix the blood sugar one is good and I am probably going to keep that as well. Sorry I cannot give you both the best answer.

Blood Pressure?

tim j asked:

How high does blood pressure get throughout the day or during exercise? I have had readings of 132/70 when laying down rested, and up to 165/89 while sitting up but I think nerves played a roll. What about when I am running, or working out? What if I am nervous and running? What if I am stressed throughout the day? Does anyone know? I have tried to look online but can’t find anything.

Thanks…

(Clarifications) Has anyone experienced low blood pressure while on Effexor XR or any other anti-depressants?

UndomesticGoddess asked:

Has anyone experienced low blood pressure while on Effexor XR or any other anti-depressants?
Did it cause fainting? I have gone to the doctor’s. He says I have low blood pressure and I need and EKG and a holter monitor for 24 hours. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. He does not think it is the meds, but it started as soon as I started the medication. I have been on it for 6 weeks.

Hypertension – Animed Health

AnimedHealth asked:

www.animedhealth.com For more information, Call 1-888-926-4633 Hypertension, referred to as high blood pressure, HTN or HPN, is a medical condition in which the blood pressure is chronically elevated. It was previously referred to as nonarterial hypertension, but in current usage, the word “hypertension”[1] without a qualifier normally refers to arterial hypertension. [2] Hypertension can be classified either essential (primary) or secondary. Essential hypertension indicates that no specific medical cause can be found to explain a patient’s condition. Secondary hypertension indicates that the high blood pressure is a result of (ie, secondary to) another condition, such as kidney disease or tumours (pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma). Persistent hypertension is one of the risk factors for strokes, heart attacks, heart failure and arterial aneurysm, and is a leading cause of chronic renal failure. Even moderate elevation of arterial blood pressure leads to shortened life expectancy. At severely high pressures, defined as mean arterial pressures 50% or more above average, a person can expect to live no more than a few years unless appropriately treated.[3] Hypertension is considered to be present when a person’s systolic blood pressure is consistently 140 mmhg or greater, and/or their diastolic blood pressure is consistently 90 mmhg or greater.

Blood pressure during pregnancy?

paper flower asked:

I am 34 weeks 3 days along and yesterday at my prenatal my dr. took my blood pressure and it was a bit high and she took it again and it had gone down some… she told me to come back in a week so she could check it again because at the appt before this she took my bp three times before getting a low one….

I’ve been monitoring my resting blood pressure at home and just now I took it on my right arm and then my left…. the right arm gave a reading of 126/81 and my left 113/60…. that seems like a drastic difference for the tests being like a minute apart… my blood pressure seems to be EVERYWHERE when I do take it…. are those readings too high for a resting bp?

Also, silly question, but could a bra that is not supportive enough contribute to a high bp? And how in the world can I avoid stress? My husband is job-hunting and funds are getting low and on top of that my 18 year old brother is having major problems with my family =(
And I **** when housework goes undone…
